Originally, I created this page during college to beg someone to hire me as a graphic artist/web designer (digital portfolio); but time and diligence has a way of making that happen (or not) with or without a digital portfolio. I did work for several years as a web designer but technology moves fast and I learned I wasn’t that interested in being in school forever and ever. I kept the domain not really having a purpose for it, but it’s my name, so, you know, I kind of had to.
Instead of my digital portfolio, (which I removed long ago) what you will find is a few things I’ve written, some have been published, some not. You will also find a few pictures of some of my crafty projects so I can share with friends when brainstorming a new project; and links to my family’s favorite recipes. Our family is huge now and mom went to all the trouble to type in all the ones she had, so I added pics and made them available to all the aunts and cousins, and apparently, anyone else who stumbles into here.
I have found that life is little more than the pursuit of peace and joy except that we are often looking for it in all the wrong places. I am guilty of looking for peace, love, joy and kindness in all the wrong places but with age comes wisdom and by the grace of God I am not who I once was.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
